Rosewood and Silver/Labradorite Fountain Pen Prototype II

Designed and made by my father Ivo Daskalov, this the second fountain pen prototype ever made by him.

The base of each part is turned rosewood wood, reinforced with engraved silver fittings. Both top and bottom fittings have a set 8 mm labradorite cabochon on their ends. The nib is Jowo stainless steel, M tip.

In total, the pen can be disassembled into four parts:

  • The top cap with clipper, which reveals the nib when pulled.
  • The base and bottom part, which features a simple screw mechanism.
  • The detachable screw pump ink reservoir. It can be filled with your favorite fountain pen ink or replaced with ink capsules.
  • The nib base.

The total length of the fountain pen is 14 cm.

The wooden parts are covered with natural oils and beeswax. The silver fittings are 925 sterling silver.

The pen comes in a paper box.
