Both journals are similar and different in many aspects.
The lighter one is sprinkled in brown on it’s edges, following along you can see the endbands embroidered in yellow and brown cotton, and sitting tightly between the threads are the four cyan glass beads sewn in with thin silk thread.
As a somewhat transformed reflection, the darker journal is sprinkled in deep blue on its edges, which compliments not only the blue striped endpapers inside but the blue and cyan woven endbands with warm yellow beads on each side. It’s covers are tooled with silver on the borders and warm 23 k gold leaf on the central decoration which is infused with dark red and white zircon gemstones. The tooling on the back is done with a more reddish tinted gold leaf, again of 23 karats.
Both journals are inscribed with a whisper in Bulgarian, reminding that when confronted with a difficult decision, your inner values hold the answer. It reads directly:
